Family and Senior Portrait Clothing Guidelines

Clothing Guidelines…
Remember the viewer's eye will travel to the lightest and brightest element in the portrait. We want that to be your face.

Family Guide Lines
Dress the family as you would a single person.
All clothing from the waist down should be the same color.
All clothing from the waist up should be the same color or lighter than the waist down color.
Avoid Plaids, Stripes an Prints. 

Family Color Examples… 
Waist down: Light Blue Jeans, Slacks or Skirt.    Top: White or Light colored sport shirt or tee shirt.
Waist down: Dark Blue or Black Jeans, or skirt   Top: White,Black sport shirt or tee shirt.
Females: Long white dresses.    Men: White Shorts and White tee or Sport shirts

Senior Portraits or Teen Portraits.
Beach Portraits are fun and are best done in the early morning, early evening just before sunset
or on overcast days. Avoid Plaids, Strips and Prints. Gals: Short Sleeve tops are more flattering than sleeveless tops.
Personal props are always welcome.

 Girls Clothing: I suggest you layer your clothing so we can get a variety of images in different clothing.
Base: Bathing suit… Matching shorts & Top… Long white dress or Light jeans and plain simple top.
